CHB Sustainability provide Energy Assessments for
both new and existing buildings.
Building Regulations Approved Documents Part L require
an energy assessment to be performed using the SAP or
SBEM methodologies (depending whether the new-build
is a domestic or a non-domestic building) both at the
design stage and at completion.
The SAP and SBEM energy assessment methods
produce a predicted carbon dioxide emission rate that
is used to assess Building Regulations compliance
against a notional building.

CHB Sustainability SAP and SBEM services, where
accredited assessors provide valuable advice on
achieving compliance rather than simply delivering
either a pass or fail against the Building Regulations.
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required for new and existing buildings in order to comply with the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. More information about this service for both domestic and non-domestic buildings can be found by clicking the link below.
