All buildings when constructed or advertised for
sale or rent must have an Energy Performance
Certificate (EPC) in line with the European
Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
Energy Performance Certificates provide a rating
of A+ to G in order to inform prospective owners
or tenants of theenergy performance and
expected running costs of the building.
Argueably the most important element of the
Energy Performance Certificate are the
recommendations which provides a range of
cost effective and practical measures that could
be implemented in order to improve the energy
performance of the building, reduce running
costs and make the building more attractive to
potential owners or tenants.
CHB Sustainability has an experienced team of accredited professionals to provide Energy Performance Certificates for all non-domestic and domestic buildings.
EPCs are now even more important since the launch of the Green Deal. The Green Deal is a new scheme to help occupants to get energy efficiency improvements on their buildings with the cost of the measures paid back over time from a proportion of the savings achieved on energy bills. The EPC is an integral part of the Green Deal so please contact us to find out what measures you can have installed on your building without any up-front costs.
